ECOSS 32 in Grenoble, FRA:

©University of Graz, Institute of Physics, Surface Science Group

On this years ECOSS 32, the European conference for surface science, three of our young researchers (Michael Hollerer, Sascha Pomp and Peter Seidel) had the possibility of giving a talk at an international, well-frequented conference in surface science

From August 28th to September 2nd, Michael, Sascha and Peter visited the ECOSS 2016, hold in Grenoble, France. They had the chance to give talks about „Charge transfer to organic films on MgO”, “Exploring the behavior of Pd on bilayer silica” and “Electrochemistry of iron oxide thin films”. The conference was well-visited and new knowledge was gained during many fruitful discussions. A remarkable highlight was the dinner at the restaurant “La Bastille” enjoying beautiful views over Grenoble and the surrounding Alpes.
